Shipping and returns
Short page. Every line on it is a promise, so there are not many.
Shipping
Every price on this site includes shipping to the lower 48 states. No shipping line shows up at checkout. Pennsylvania orders add state sales tax, shown before you pay. Surprise shipping on a 50 lb box is how carts die, and trust dies with them.
Orders ship in 1 to 3 business days, and tracking is emailed as soon as it exists. Typical delivery is 3 to 6 business days after that. If we cannot ship within the time stated here, we email you before it passes with a new date and the choice to cancel for a full refund. Refunds go back to your card within 7 business days of a cancellation.
Returns
30 days from delivery, any reason.
Defective or out of tolerance: we pay return shipping, no restocking fee, and you choose a replacement or a refund. A bar bent in transit or a box that arrives crushed counts as defective. Send a photo and we take it from there.
Changed your mind: return it unused in the original box and we refund the product price. We ask you to cover return postage on change-of-mind returns. That is stated here, in plain sight, so nothing surprises you later.
To start either kind, email support@basaltfitness.com with your order number and we reply with instructions. Refunds go back to the card you paid with.
The make-it-right guarantee
Every item we sell will be weighed and measured before it lists, and the numbers will be published in the Basalt Ledger. Your unit will be within 2 percent of its published Ledger number or we make it right.
If your unit is more than 2 percent off within 30 days of delivery: replacement or refund, your choice, we pay the shipping, no restocking fee, no interrogation. Claims to support@basaltfitness.com with a photo of your unit on any scale. A bathroom scale is fine.
What 2 percent looks like: say the Ledger entry for a dumbbell reads 50.2 lb. 2 percent of that is 1.0 lb. Anything from 49.2 to 51.2 lb is inside the line. Under 49.2 or over 51.2, the guarantee applies. Ledger numbers are measurements of retail samples, dated by batch. The guarantee covers the gap between the sample and the unit in your box.
Digital products
The First 90 Days is a free PDF. The download link appears on the page as soon as you sign up or place the free order, and it works for 30 days. There is nothing to ship, nothing to return, and nothing to refund. If you lose the link or the file, email us and we send it again.
